Ultrasound Imaging of Breast Implants
Breast implants are not lifetime devices. Currently, the FDA recommends MRI imaging of newly placed silicone breast implants 3 to 5 years and 7 years after placement. We have initiated a new research study protocol to determine if new Hi Resolution Ultrasound is an effective method and alternative to MRI to monitor the function and condition of your breast implants.
