During your consultation, we will take the time to get to know you and your unique aesthetic goals. Our goal is to create a completely personalized treatment plan so that you feel comfortable and confident in your care with us. Prior to treatment, we will advise you to stop taking any blood-thinning medications, including over-the-counter medications, and we may also recommend pausing certain supplements to reduce the chance of bruising.
Our expert injectors, under the supervision of Dr. Bengtson and Dr. Alfonso, will ensure that your SKINVIVE treatment is performed precisely and provides optimal results that address your concerns. First, your skin will be cleansed, and topical numbing cream may be applied. Then, your provider will use medical-grade needles to inject the SKINVIVE solution, which also contains lidocaine for maximum comfort.
This treatment does not require any downtime or recovery period, but some patients may experience mild bruising, swelling, or irritation near the injection site. Regular daily activities can be resumed immediately, but we do recommend sleeping on your back with your head slightly elevated for one to two days. The best results are usually visible after about one month and last from six to nine months.
