These are NOT the impersonal waiting rooms or cookie-cutter beige walls you will find in most hospital waiting rooms. We collaborated with AMDG architects and Kathryn Chaplow Interior Design to ensure that our suites provide both reassurance and privacy as you prepare for your consultation. The stunning results capture the core of Dr. Bengtson’s philosophy; a passion for excellence and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.
Our patient-first philosophy is embedded in every detail of the Bengtson Center for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery. Working closely with AMDG and Kathryn Chaplow Interior Design, we created spaces that were welcoming and fostered a sense of inclusion, as opposed to the cold and clinical feel of a traditional medical facility. These inviting spaces feature plenty of natural light and creature comforts. Even our operating room has abundant natural light while maintaining patient privacy.
Privacy and discretion are as important to us as comfort. For instance, our facility features a separate waiting room, which is designed with amenities to provide all possible comforts; including luxurious leather chairs, a big-screen TV, and a wet bar.
When we designed the Bengtson Center for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery’s surgical wing, we knew we had the opportunity to build something truly special to maximize patient privacy and practice efficiency. We wanted to make sure we offered our Grand Rapids plastic surgery patients a safe, welcoming, and discreet space for their procedures.
To achieve this, we created a separate patient entrance, waiting room, and staff area for our surgical wing. Our two onsite operating rooms are designed to accommodate all procedures that we offer, giving us complete control over the operating conditions of your surgery. By doing this, we can minimize the risk of complications and improve the effectiveness of your procedure.
When surgeons lease space at a surgical center, they typically do so in blocks of time. This gives them a financial incentive to finish procedures quickly. The Bengtson Center gives Dr. Bengtson and his team the freedom to take all the time needed to perfect your procedure. It is one of the greatest assets a surgeon can have, and we are proud to offer it to our patients.
At the Bengtson Center for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, one of our prime goals is the education and instruction of other plastic surgeons. Dr. Bengtson wanted to create a space where he could maximize the value of surgery as a teaching tool.
